He was owner of Hawkins and Associates, an actuarial consulting firm focused on insurance companies and employee benefits, from 1986 to 2001 when he partnered with Leggette Actuaries, Inc. Through a series of mergers and acquistions, Leggette eventually became a part of the Ascensus, LLC family of companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each new step along the way brought new friends, new clients and a broadened base of expertise and experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David left Ascensus in 2024 to form Encore Actuarial in order to continue applying his decades of knowledge and experience in a personal, one-on-one manner with his clients.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Although Encore Actuarial is a new company, our people have decades of experience and expertise.
